Earlier in the match, SRH posted a competitive total of 194/8, thanks to impactful innings from Abhishek Sharma and Klaasen. Abhishek smashed a quickfire 59 off just 22 deliveries, setting the tone at the top, while Klaasen anchored the innings with a composed 59 off 39 balls. For CSK, Jamie Overton (3/37) and Anshul Kamboj (3/22) were the standout bowlers who kept SRH in check during the latter stages.

In reply, CSK fought hard but ultimately fell short, finishing at 184/8. Matthew Short (34 off 30), Mhatre (30 off 13), and Sarfaraz Khan (25 off 19) got starts but couldn’t convert them into match-winning contributions.
