MS Dhoni visited Bollywood actor Salman Khan's farmhouse in Panvel as the latter celebrated his 60th birthday alongside his family and other well-wishers on Saturday, December 27. The former Indian captain attended the star-studded party with his wife, Sakshi Dhoni, and daughter, Ziva Dhoni.
Salman and MS Dhoni also posed for a photograph together, which went viral on social media in no time. This, however, shouldn't take people by surprise as the two celebrities are stalwarts in their respective fields and have millions of fans worshipping them.
Celebrities including Aditya Roy Kapur, Rakul Preet Singh, Huma Qureshi, Genelia D'Souza, Tabu, Helen, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Randeep Hooda and Mika Singh were also invited.
Salman's last movie was 'Sikandar', which was released on March 30, 2025. It failed to live up to its hype, despite collecting a decent amount of money at the box office. His next film, 'The Battle of Galwan', is expected to arrive in theatres next year.
Meanwhile, MS Dhoni will also return to action in 2026, as he is set to play his 19th season in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The 44-year-old led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the last nine matches in IPL 2025. However, the franchise finished at the bottom of the points table for the first time. On expected lines, Dhoni was retained by CSK ahead of the IPL 2026 mini-auction.

Ruturaj Gaikwad is set to take charge of the Men in Yellow in IPL 2026 after missing most parts of last season due to an injury. Dhoni is at the twilight of his playing career, but has been able to manage his body commendably. Fans are waiting to watch the wicketkeeper-batter returning to the field for what promises to be another exciting season in the cash-rich league.
