During the Super Four clash against Bangladesh, SKY produced a moment of sheer brilliance that left fans and teammates in awe. In a crucial phase of the match, his lightning-fast reflexes resulted in the spectacular run-out of Jaker Ali, a dismissal that shifted momentum in India’s favor. The moment instantly went viral on social media, with cricket enthusiasts praising his athleticism and sharp cricketing instincts.
The dramatic moment unfolded on the third delivery of the 13th over, with Varun Chakravarthy bowling to Saif Hassan. Saif nudged the ball gently toward cover and immediately called for a quick single. Jaker responded, sprinting down the pitch, but just as he neared the halfway point, he faltered and hesitated, unsure of completing the run.
Sensing the opportunity instantly, Indian captain Suryakumar reacted with lightning speed. Covering the ground in a flash, he dived full stretch, gathered the ball cleanly, and unleashed a flawless underarm throw to the keeper’s end. The precision of the throw left the batsman stranded short of the crease, sealing one of the most sensational run-outs of the tournament.
