India Champions (IAC) and Pakistan Champions (PNC) lock horns in match No. 4 of the World Championship of Legends 2025 at Edgbaston, Birmingham, on Sunday, July 20.
India Champions will start their title defence on Sunday with a clash against their arch-rivals. Last year, these two teams faced each other twice. While Pakistan won in the league stage, India emerged victorious in the summit clash.
India's middle-order is very strong, with the likes of captain Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan, and Irfan Pathan, among others. Pakistan, on the other hand, has a very formidable pace-attack, comprising Rumman Raees, Sohail Tanvir, Wahab Riaz, and Sohail Khan.
The surface at Edgbaston, Birmingham hasn't been easy for batting in the first couple of matches. Bowlers are getting decent assistance from the pitch, and the contest between bat and ball has been intriguing to watch. The new ball is going to be important and batters will have to be wary.
Robin Uthappa (WK), Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu/Stuart Binny, Yuvraj Singh (C), Yusuf Pathan, Irfan Pathan, Piyush Chawla, Abhimanyu Mithun/Varun Aaron, Harbhajan Singh, Vinay Kumar.
Kamran Akmal (WK), Sharjeel Khan, Umar Amin, Mohammad Hafeez (C), Shoaib Malik, Asif Ali, Aamer Yamin, Sohail Tanvir, Sohail Khan, Wahab Riaz, Rumman Raees.
Yusuf Pathan has consistently performed well in the leagues involving legends. The right-handed batter plays spin very well and if Pakistan decides to go in without specialist spinners like they did against England, Pathan shouldn't have too many problems in putting all-rounder Shoaib Malik to the sword.
The left-arm seamer bowled a terrific spell with the new ball against England. He can swing the ball and is also very accurate. Rumman Raees will look to give Pakistan wickets with the new ball, which is going to be very crucial as India have a very strong middle-order.
