East Delhi Riders Women (EDR W) face Central Delhi Queens (CDQ) in match No. 2 of the Women's Delhi Premier League (WDPL) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Monday, August 18.
East Delhi Riders finished third on the points table last season. They won one match and lost one out of the three they played in WDPL 2024. Their match against Central Delhi Queens was washed out due to rain. They will look to start their season on a positive note with a win on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Central Delhi Queens have not managed to win a match in WDPL. Last season, they lost two games, and the other one was the abandoned encounter against EDR W. They finished at the bottom of the points table, with just one point and an abysmal net run rate of -2.188.
