West Indies (WI) and Nepal (NEP) are set to lock horns in the first T20I of their three-match series at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Saturday, September 27. This will be Nepal’s first-ever bilateral series against a Full Member nation.

West Indies will be led by left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein in the absence of regular skipper Shai Hope. Their squad features five uncapped players, including Ackeem Auguste and Amir Jangoo, alongside experienced names like Jason Holder, Fabian Allen, and Kyle Mayers. Nepal's Kushal Bhurtel could be the best batter in the upcoming game against the West Indies. The opener in the Scotland T20I Tri-Series was the highest run-scorer for his team. In four games, he scored 133 runs at an average of 33.25. Bhurtel will be looking to play the same brand of cricket in the coming series.

West Indies' Jason Holder could be the best bowler in the upcoming clash against Nepal. The veteran all-rounder will be looking to make good use of his pace and height. The right-arm seamer is coming off good performances in the Pakistan series with six wickets in three games and will look to continue the same form.
