The Indian Premier League continues to serve as a source of entertainment and fanfare. The league has provided a whole lot of adrenaline-charged moments over the years. Franchises have had their fair share of moments on the field. On-field success isn't only limited to wins and titles.
With every passing season, sides have had fluctuations in team valuations, fan engagement, and sponsorship deals based on their performances in that particular edition. IPL 2025 has seen a few franchises making leaps in that regard.
According to the latest report from Brand Finance, Chennai Super Kings leads as the most valuable IPL franchise in the current season with a brand value of $122 million. There was a reported growth of 52% in the valuation. Much of this can be attributed to the presence of CSK maestro and former Indian cricket legend, MS Dhoni.
There was evident craze for Dhoni outside stadiums hours before games commenced. Be it at CSK's home venue or away grounds, chants of the joint-most successful franchise were heard in unrelenting abundance. Another key factor has been their well-planned marketing drives.
