Juairiya Ferdous dominated the chase with a brilliant knock of 50 off just 33 balls, smashing seven fours and two sixes. Batting at an impressive strike rate of 151.52, she took control of the proceedings and ensured Bangladesh Women comfortably reached their target.
Right-arm pacer Marufa Akter was the standout performer with the ball, finishing with impressive figures of 2/31 from her four overs. She provided Bangladesh Women with crucial breakthroughs by dismissing Phebe Molkenboer and Robine Rijke, playing a key role in restricting Netherlands Women to a manageable total.
Juairiya Ferdous was named Player of the Match for her brilliant half-century, which provided the aggression and momentum Bangladesh Women needed during the chase.
Bangladesh Women will play their next game against Australia Women on Wednesday, June 17. Meanwhile, Netherlands Women will return to action on the same day, locking horns with India Women.
