Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma led the charge with impressive half-centuries, putting the Netherlands bowlers under sustained pressure. For Netherlands Women, Caroline de Lange was the most successful bowler, claiming 2 wickets for 32 runs.
In response, Netherlands Women were bowled out for 114 in 17.3 overs. Babette de Leede was the top scorer for her side with 28 runs, but the chase never gained momentum. India's bowlers delivered a clinical performance, with Shree Charani starring with four wickets. Shafali Verma contributed with three wickets, while Nandini Sharma picked up two.

Smriti Mandhana was the standout batting performer of the match, playing a brilliant innings of 74 runs from 47 deliveries. Her knock featured 11 boundaries and one six, and she scored at an impressive strike rate of 157.45. The left-hander laid a strong foundation for India's massive total by stitching together a commanding 115-run opening partnership with Shafali Verma. The pair added the runs in just 70 balls, putting Netherlands Women on the back foot from the outset.
Shree Charani emerged as the top bowling performer of the match with an outstanding spell of 4/19 in her four overs. Charani struck at regular intervals and finished with four key wickets, dismissing Robine Rijke, Frederique Overdijk, Iris Zwilling, and Myrthe van den Raad.
Smriti Mandhana was named Player of the Match for her outstanding batting performance against Netherlands Women. The left-handed opener played a superb innings of 74 runs off 47 balls, striking 11 fours and one six at a strike rate of 157.45.
India Womenâs next match is against the South Africa Women on Sunday, June 21 at Old Trafford, Manchester. Meanwhile, Netherlands Women will be in action on the same day as they face Australia Women at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.
