Kapp also shared a crucial 97-run partnership with Tazmin Brits for the third wicket, with the duo adding the runs in just 63 balls to steer South Africa towards victory.
Left-arm spinner Shree Charani was the standout bowler of the match, delivering an impressive spell of 3/24 in her four overs, including a maiden. She provided crucial breakthroughs for India by dismissing South Africa captain Laura Wolvaardt, Annerie Dercksen, and Nadine de Klerk, finishing as her side's most effective bowler despite the defeat.
