South Africa Women registered a comprehensive 125-run victory over England Women to storm into the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 final on October 29, 2025, at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati.

Batting first, South Africa posted an imposing total of 319/7 in 50 overs, thanks to a sensational knock from Laura Wolvaardt, who smashed 169 runs off 143 balls, laced with 20 fours and four sixes. Her commanding innings anchored South Africa’s effort and set a daunting target for the English side. Among the England bowlers, Sophie Ecclestone was the standout performer, returning impressive figures of 4/44 in her 10-over spell, keeping South Africa from reaching an even bigger total.

In reply, England Women faltered under scoreboard pressure and were bundled out for 194 runs in 42.3 overs.
