Women's World Cup 2025: India Women squad announced, Shafali Verma excluded

The All India Women's Senior Selection Committee, on Tuesday, August 19, has announced the India Women squad for the upcoming Women's ODI World Cup 2025, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. As expected, Harmanpreet Kaur has been named as the captain for a strong 15-member squad, while Smriti Mandhana is the designated vice-captain.
