Gujarat Giants Women posted 192/5 in their 20 overs, with Georgia Wareham contributing 43* off 33 balls and Bharti Fulmali smashing 36* off 15 deliveries. For MI Women, four bowlers claimed one wicket each, keeping the opposition in check.

Chasing 193, MI Women reached their target in 19.2 overs, finishing at 193/3. Harmanpreet Kaur starred with a brilliant 71* off 43 balls, steering her side to a comfortable win. From Gujarat Giants Women, three bowlers took one wicket each.

Harmanpreet Kaur once again led from the front, guiding Mumbai Indians Women to victory with an unbeaten 71 off 43 balls, including seven fours and two sixes. She shared a 72-run partnership in 44 balls with Amanjot Kaur and an 84-run stand in 43 balls with Nicola Carey, taking her team across the line with authority.

Every bowler in the match picked up one wicket each across both teams. However, Shabnim Ismail claimed a crucial wicket, dismissing Sophie Devine for eight runs, caught behind by wicketkeeper G. Kamalini. Ismail finished with figures of 1/25 from her four overs at an economy rate of 6.25.

Mumbai Indians Women captain Harmanpreet Kaur was named Player of the Match for her brilliant innings. She scored an unbeaten 71 off 43 balls at a strike rate of 165.12. With this knock, Harmanpreet also reached the 1,000-run milestone in the WPL and notched her fifth fifty in eight innings against Gujarat Giants Women.

Mumbai Indians Women will lock horns with UP Warriorz Women on January 15 and Gujarat Giants Women will take on Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women on January 16.
