The Super Four phase of the Asia Cup 2025 commenced on Saturday, September 20, making it the start of the tournament’s business end. From Group A, India and Pakistan have qualified, while Sri Lanka and Bangladesh sealed their spots from Group B. The format sees each of the four teams face one another once in a round-robin setup. The top two teams at the end of six matches will qualify for the final on September 28 in Dubai. Points from the group stage will not be carried forward, with all four teams beginning with a clean slate.
The Super Four fixtures include Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh (Sep 20), India vs Pakistan (Sep 21), Pakistan vs Sri Lanka (Sep 23), India vs Bangladesh (Sep 24), Pakistan vs Bangladesh (Sep 25), and India vs Sri Lanka (Sep 26). Notably, all these teams have some of the fittest cricketers who have played a big role in helping their teams come till this stage.
Bangladesh skipper Litton Das is one of the most stylish batters but also one of the fittest in the team. Unlike many cricketers who struggle with recurring injuries, Litton has been among the less injury-prone players in the squad.
His consistency in staying available across formats is a result of the hours he puts into training. Litton follows a strict routine that includes strength work, running sessions, and drills, ensuring he remains sharp behind the stumps and while batting.
His dedication to fitness has allowed him to balance the dual responsibilities of wicketkeeping and batting without much fatigue. While others in the team have missed games due to injuries, the batter's durability has been a big plus for Bangladesh.
