At the halfway point of their innings, South Africa found themselves in a strong position, standing at 96 for the loss of three wickets. While they faced an early challenge, the momentum was decisively shifted by the aggressive and sensational batting of Brevis. The young star was in scintillating form, reaching a breathtaking half-century off just 22 balls and finding excellent support from Tristan Stubbs.
