CPL 2025: Match 22, BR vs ABF Match Prediction – Who will win today’s CPL match between BR vs ABF?

Published - 05 Sept 2025, 13:06 IST | Updated - 05 Sept 2025, 13:40 IST
The coveted Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025 continues with Barbados Royals (BR) taking on Antigua and Barbuda Falcons (ABF). Both sides will lock horns in game 22 of the tournament at the Kensington Oval in Barbados, on Saturday, September 6.
It is worth noting that Barbados Royals currently sit at the bottom of the table. The team has so far lost four out of five matches. On the other hand, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons are currently in the third position of the CPL 2025 standings with three wins and four losses in eight games.
The Kensington Oval in Bridgetown offers a lively surface that traditionally favours fast bowlers, with the help of the extra bounce and pace on offer. Seamers who can exploit the conditions early often find good assistance. However, as the match progresses, the pitch tends to settle, making it favourable for batting. Once set, batters can play their shots with confidence, and runs can come quickly.
Quinton de Kock(w), Brandon King, Kadeem Alleyne, Rassie van der Dussen, Sherfane Rutherford, Rovman Powell(c), Chris Green, Daniel Sams, Eathan Bosch, Jomel Warrican, Ramon Simmonds
Jewel Andrew (wk), Amir Jangoo, Karima Gore, Andries Gous, Shakib Al Hasan, Imad Wasim (c), Fabian Allen, Odean Smith, Usama Mir, Jayden Seales, Salman Irshad
Antigua and Barbuda Falcons' batter Karima Gore could be the key player in this clash. He has been in fine form, scoring 218 runs in seven innings so far in the tournament. With his ability to anchor the innings and accelerate when needed, Gore can play a decisive role in guiding his team toward victory.
Jayden Seales has bagged six wickets from eight matches at an average of 33.50 and an economy rate of 8.20. Imad Wasim will rely on Seales to get him some breakthroughs, especially through the middle overs. The 23-year-old will have the responsibility to take the team out of tough moments.
