CPL 2026: Match 24, TKR vs ABF Match Prediction – Who will win today’s CPL match between Trinbago Knight Riders vs Antigua and Barbuda Falcons?

Trinbago Knight Riders will take on Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in Match 24 of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 on Thursday, September 3, at the Queen's Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad.

The Knight Riders have had a tumultuous season as defending champions, where they have managed just two wins in six matches, losing five. They were beaten by nine runs in their contest against Guyana Amazon Warriors in a repeat of last season's final, falling short of a 182-run target in a rain-shortened match.

The Falcons sit at the top of the table, having picked up four wins and three losses from eight matches. Their last match, against the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, was abandoned due to rain. They met the Knight Riders earlier in the season, where they emerged victorious by five wickets.

The surface at the Queen's Park Oval is, in the initial part of the game, a surface which favours batters, but tends to slow down as the game progresses. The bounce can be sluggish at times, with spinners able to get grip and turn off the wickets. Variable bounce can help seamers in the middle and death overs. With this set to be an evening game, the effect of dew is also expected to be prominent.

Colin Munro, Sunil Narine, Nicholas Pooran (c), Alex Hales, Joshua Da Silva(w), Justin Greaves, Jyd Goolie, Dominic Drakes, Akeal Hosein, Usman Tariq, Lahiru Kumara

Evin Lewis, Amir Jangoo(w), Hasan Nawaz, Moeen Ali (c), Shadab Khan, Fabian Allen, Shamar Springer, Joshua James, Alzarri Joseph, Sufyan Moqim, Jayden Seales

Knight Riders captain Nicholas Pooran could be the best batter in this contest. The destructive southpaw batter has been one of TKR's most prolific batters, scoring 209 runs in six matches, striking at 177.19. He scored an 18-ball 43 against the Warriors in the last clash and comes into this match in fine form.

West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Joseph has been the attack leader for the Falcons and is their current leading wicket-taker with ten scalps in seven innings. Despite bowling at an economy rate of 9.04, he has been a regular strike bowler with wickets in all matches. He will be looking to add to his tally for the season.
