The Match No. 10 of International League T20 (ILT20) 2025-26 will see Gulf Giants (GG) take on Sharjah Warriorz (SWR) at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Wednesday, December 10. The upcoming contest will mark the sixth game at the venue in the ongoing season.

The Gulf Giants started brilliantly with consecutive wins in their first couple of games. However, they lost the streak, losing their third match of the season by a narrow margin in a Super Over thriller against the Desert Vipers. However, they have a chance to regain the winning momentum by registering a victory in the upcoming fixture.

On the other hand, the Warriorz have played only a couple of games this season, but failing to open their account on the points table. They were comprehensively defeated by 39 runs in their tournament-opening clash. The Warriorz narrowly lost out to MI Emirates by four runs in a final-over thriller in their most-recent outing. They will hope to change their fortunes in the game on Wednesday.

Only one out of the five matches played in ILT20 2025 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium has gone in the favour of the team batting first. The big boundaries will play a part during the contest. Maximizing the powerplay will be essential for both teams. A 180-plus score might be defendable if the team bowls well during the run-chase.

Pathum Nissanka, Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), James Vince, Moeen Ali (c), Azmatullah Omarzai, Gerhard Erasmus, Mark Adair, Liam Dawson, Haider Razzaq, Nuwan Thushara, Muhammad Zuhaib

Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Tim David, Sikandar Raza, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Dwaine Pretorius, Shubham Ranjane, Tim Southee (c), Junaid Siddique, Adil Rashid, Wasim Akram, Maheesh Theekshana

Pathum Nissanka has been in belligerent form so far. He has scored three back-to-back half-centuries and has registered 204 runs at a strike rate of 200. Nissanka can be expected to generate some more fireworks with the bat. The top-order batter from Sri Lanka will be confident of extending his great run of form in today's game as well.

Adil Rashid has picked up five wickets in two ILT20 matches up until this point. With a positive start to the ongoing tournament, the English leg-spinner can be expected to trouble the opposition batters with his variations.
