Desert Vipers (DV) cross swords with MI Emirates (MIE) in match No. 24 of the International League T20 (ILT20) 2025-26 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on Sunday, December 21.
Desert Vipers have already qualified for the playoffs. They have six wins and one defeat after playing seven matches and find themselves at the top of the points table. Before their clash against MI Emirates, the Vipers will face Sharjah Warriorz on Saturday.
Meanwhile, MI Emirates will look to get one step closer to the playoffs with a win on Sunday. The Kieron Pollard-led side has won four matches and lost three so far. They defeated Abu Dhabi Knight Riders by 35 runs on Saturday and will be high on confidence.
The Dubai International Cricket Stadium has hosted 10 games so far in the ILT20 2025-2026. The average first-innings total has been around 164 in the first 10 matches played there. Six out of these games were won by chasing teams, while one went into the Super Over.

Jonny Bairstow is among the leading run-getters this season in the ILT20. He has amassed 241 runs in seven innings at an average of 40.17. The England wicketkeeper-batter also has an impressive strike rate of 149.69.
Khuzaima Tanveer has been in fine form, bagging 11 wickets in seven matches at an average of 18.18. The UAE pacer has bowled in the powerplay, through the middle overs, and also at the death, showcasing his all-round skills.
