It’s worth noting that the moment came against the backdrop of a thrilling final that saw AB de Villiers produce batting heroics. The former South Africa captain smashed an unbeaten 120 off just 60 balls, leading the South Africa Champions to chase down a challenging 196-run target in only 16.5 overs. Earlier, Pakistan’s Sharjeel Khan had anchored his team to 195 for 5, but De Villiers’ onslaught made the pursuit seem effortless.
