IPL 2026: DC vs PBKS, Match 35: Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

The Delhi Capitals take on the Punjab Kings in Match 35 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on April 25.
The Capitals were dented by the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last game, suffering a 47-run loss. They have played six games in IPL 2026 and have three wins and three losses apiece. They possess one of the better bowling attacks in the tournament, but have often been found wanting with the bat due to a glaring lack of aggressors in the lineup. They are still awaiting the return of Australian speedster Mitchell Starc, who has been cleared to travel to India to participate in the IPL after a shoulder injury.
The Punjab Kings come into this clash as the only unbeaten side remaining in IPL 2026. Sitting comfortably at the top of the table, they have been one of the most balanced sides in the tournament, ticking every single box with bat and ball. Doubts lie on the availability of Australian all-rounder Cooper Connolly, who has returned home for scans on his back. The starlet has been a revelation for Kings, batting at number 3, scoring 223 runs at a strike rate of over 160.
The Capitals return home for the first time since April 8. In that span, they have amassed two losses and a solitary win. They will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on the IPL's form team. The Kings will be looking to extend their unbeaten run even further as they aim to solidify their place in the playoffs early.
