IPL 2026: Match 54, RCB vs MI Match Prediction – Who will win today’s IPL match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Mumbai Indians?

The action in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has moved to Raipur, as Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will host Mumbai Indians (MI) for Match 54 of the tournament on Sunday, May 10, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru have been in great form and are playing like true defending champions in 2026. With ten matches played already, RCB have won six games and have 12 points on the board. Ahead of the contest, they will be fourth on the table, but a win will help them climb the ladder further up and strengthen their position ahead of the playoffs.
Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, have a playoffs spot on the line with four matches remaining in their league-stage campaign. They cannot afford a loss in all of their upcoming matches, which would otherwise hand them an early exit from the competition.
It has been almost ten years since the Shaheeh Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur was last host to an Indian Premier League encounter. In total, six IPL matches have been played at the venue, with chasing teams emerging victorious on the majority of occasions. While the ground may not offer some huge totals being placed on the board, it seems certain that the pitch will get easier to bat on as the match progresses. Spinners will extract relatively more help from the surface here.
Virat Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Rajat Patidar (captain), Jitesh Sharma (wicketkeeper), Tim David, Romario Shepherd, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, Suyash Sharma, Rasikh Dar
Ryan Rickelton (wicketkeeper), Will Jacks, Naman Dhir, Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Raj Bawa, Hardik Pandya (captain), Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, AM Ghazanfar, Raghu Sharma
Virat Kohli has been in superb form for the defending champions in 2026. While the vintage self of Virat is right up there, what has evolved this year is the rate of 164.06 at which the ace batter has been racking up runs on the board. Kohli, who has 379 runs in the season already, will look to extend his run of good form against the five-time champions on Sunday.
Raipur is a deck where spinners will dominate, bringing AM Ghazanfar a crucial weapon for the Mumbai Indians in the upcoming fixture. While a higher economy rate (9.92 rpo) has been a concern for the Afghanistan international, he has often struck significant breakthroughs for the Mumbai-based franchise, making him a valuable asset against RCB, who have some really good batters of spin.
