Chasing a modest target of 141, New Zealand made a cautious start through Will Young and Henry Nicholls. Tom Latham played a composed innings of 31 from 53 balls, ensuring the chase remained on course before Dean Foxcroft finished the job with an unbeaten 22 off 28 deliveries. The visitors reached 141 for 4 in 39.3 overs to seal a comfortable six-wicket victory. For West Indies, Lawes was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 39, while Khary Pierre claimed the other wicket. Despite their efforts, the modest total left the bowlers with very little margin for error.
