Pakistan T20I Tri-Series 2025: Match 3, Pakistan vs Sri Lanka Match Prediction – Who will win today’s match between PAK vs SL?

Pakistan (PAK) are set to face a deflated Sri Lanka (SL) in the third match of the tri-series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Saturday, November 22.

Salman Ali Agha and Co. will be high on confidence after whitewashing Sri Lanka in the three-match ODI series and then beating Zimbabwe to start the tri-series. Against Zimbabwe, the Men in Green emerged victorious by five wickets, chasing down a 148-run target in 19 overs.

On the other hand, Sri Lanka had a forgettable start to their campaign in the tri-series, losing to Zimbabwe on Thursday. Dasun Shanaka's men were bowled out for 95 in 20 overs, chasing a 163-run target against the Chevrons. They will want to bounce back strongly against the home side and win their first match on the tour.

The surface is expected to be balanced in nature, with something in it for batters as well as the bowlers. Zimbabwe have batted first in the first two matches so far in this tri-series. The average first-innings total is around 155. Winning the toss and bowling first should be the ideal choice. However, teams should not allow the opposition batters to get off to a brisk start in the powerplay as chasing too big a total will not be easy.

Sahibzada Farhan, Saim Ayub, Babar Azam, Salman Agha (C), Fakhar Zaman, Usman Khan (WK), Mohammad Nawaz, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Salman Mirza, Abrar Ahmed.

Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (WK), Kusal Perera, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Dasun Shanaka (C), Kamindu Mendis, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dushmantha Chameera, Maheesh Theekshana, Eshan Malinga, Nuwan Thushara.

Fakhar Zaman batted at No. 5 against Zimbabwe. He played a calm and composed knock of 44 runs from 32 balls, belting two fours and as many sixes. The southpaw will play a crucial role in the middle order, especially against Sri Lanka's strong spin attack.

Wanindu Hasaranga bowled a fine spell against Zimbabwe, picking up three wickets and conceding 32 runs in four overs. The talismanic leg-spinner will have to be among the wickets if Sri Lanka are to give Pakistan a run for their money.
