SA20 2025-26: Robin Uthappa, Dale Steyn, Eoin Morgan named in star-studded commentary team for season 4

SA20 is all set to return with its fourth edition, and the league has unveiled a star-studded commentary team. The 2025-26 season begins on December 26, 2025, and fans in India can watch all matches live on JioHotstar and Star Sports Network.

Since its launch, SA20 has become one of the most exciting T20 leagues in world cricket. The announcement of this year’s commentary panel features legendary cricketers. For season 4, Robin Uthappa returns to the commentary team. Joining him are two global icons, South African pace legend Dale Steyn and England’s 2019 World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan. The international panel also features former England captain Kevin Pietersen and renowned broadcaster Mark Nicholas.

Meanwhile, leading this lineup is legendary South African player AB de Villiers. He is joined by former Proteas stars JP Duminy, Ashwell Prince, Chris Morris, and Vernon Philander. The broadcast team also includes names such as Natalie Germanos, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Kass Naidoo, Mark Butcher, Nikhil Uttamchandani, Lesego Pooe, Motshidisi Mohono, and Kriya Gangiah.

As SA20 continues to grow, the league will once again bring exciting cricketing action to fans across six cities, including Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town, Paarl, Centurion, and Gqeberha. The six participating teams are Durban’s Super Giants, Joburg Super Kings, MI Cape Town (defending champions), Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, and Sunrisers Eastern Cape, who won the title in 2023 and 2024.
