The third edition of the Uttar Pradesh T20 League 2025 is scheduled to begin on Sunday, August 17, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. The opening matches will unfold between the previous edition's finalists, Meerut Mavericks and Kanpur Superstars.
The league comprises six teams, including Noida Super Kings, Kashi Rudras, Meerut Mavericks, Kanpur Superstars, Gorakhpur Lions, and Lucknow Falcons. The tournament, which is set to run from August 17 to September 06, will have a total of 34 matches, including the Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2, and the Final. The top four teams on the points table will progress to the knockout stage. The iconic Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow will host all the games, with matches set to begin at 7:30 PM IST and 3:00 PM IST on double-headers.
Meanwhile, ahead of Match no.1, the board has organized a grand opening ceremony, set to feature performances by Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Sunidhi Chauhan.
