The match will be remembered for a magical spell from Gudakesh Motie, whose back-to-back dismissals of Roston Chase and Tim David turned the tide in the Warriors’ favour.

Despite being in early trouble, Saint Lucia Kings found hope through Khary Pierre, who played a breathtaking knock of 50 off just 29 balls. His fearless hitting kept the Kings alive in the contest and gave them a chance to chase down the target.

However, the lack of support from the middle and lower order meant his efforts went in vain. The Kings eventually folded for 143 in 19.1 overs, falling 14 runs short of the target.
