Cricket fans were treated to a thrilling spectacle at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025, as Tim David stole the spotlight with a towering six off Sunil Narine. The strike not only electrified the crowd but also drew warm applause from West Indies legend Kieron Pollard, making it one of the most talked-about moments of the tournament so far.
On the final ball of the 10th over, Narine tossed up a delivery full outside leg stump. David, showing no hesitation, stepped forward, cleared his front leg, and launched the ball high over wide long-on. The clean strike sailed into the stands, leaving fans and teammates in awe.

Earlier in the match, the Trinbago Knight Riders, batting first after losing the toss, were bundled out for just 109 runs in 18.1 overs. Nicholas Pooran tried to anchor the innings with a fighting 30, but wickets kept tumbling. Tabraiz Shamsi was the standout bowler for Saint Lucia Kings, claiming 3/12 in his spell.
Chasing a modest target, the Saint Lucia Kings made light work of the run chase, finishing at 112/3 in just 11.1 overs. Tim Seifert top-scored with 36, while young talent Ackeem Auguste added a quick 28. Narine managed to grab 2/28, but it wasn’t enough to stop the Kings’ dominance. Saint Lucia Kings sealed a 7-wicket win, further strengthening their position in CPL 2025.
