ZIM vs BAN, 3rd ODI, Match Prediction: Who will win today’s game between Zimbabwe and Bangladesh?

Table of Contents
Zimbabwe will face Bangladesh in the third and final ODI of the series at the Harare Sports Club on Saturday, July 11. Having already sealed the series with consecutive victories, the hosts will be eager to complete a memorable whitewash on home soil.
Zimbabwe have impressed throughout the series, defending modest totals with disciplined bowling performances. After pulling off a stunning win in the opener, they followed it up with a 13-run victory in the second ODI, thanks to Ben Curran’s unbeaten century and another clinical effort from their pace attack led by Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani.
Bangladesh, meanwhile, will be desperate to avoid a 3-0 defeat. Despite entering the series after ODI series wins over Pakistan, New Zealand and Australia earlier this year, they have struggled to put together complete performances. Their batting has suffered collapses in both matches, leaving skipper Mehidy Hasan Miraz searching for answers ahead of the series finale.

The Harare Sports Club has provided plenty of assistance to fast bowlers in the first two matches of the series. The new ball has generated good bounce and seam movement, making life difficult for the top-order batters. As the innings progresses, the surface tends to slow down, with uneven bounce making stroke-making increasingly challenging. Chasing has not been straightforward, as the pitch becomes slower during the second innings. Batters who spend time at the crease are likely to be rewarded, but aggressive strokeplay from the outset could prove risky.
With clear weather forecast and temperatures expected to hover around 23°C, conditions should remain ideal for cricket. A first-innings score in the region of 250 could prove to be a winning total, and the captain winning the toss may once again prefer to bowl first and exploit the early assistance.
