Women's World Cup 2025: Match 14, South Africa Women vs Bangladesh Women Match Prediction – Who will win today’s match between SA W vs BAN W?

A buoyant South African side will look to continue its climb in the Women's World Cup 2025 standings when it locks horns with Nigar Sultana's Bangladesh on Monday, October 13, at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.
The Proteas will be high on confidence after registering back-to-back wins against New Zealand and India after a crushing 10-wicket defeat to England to start the campaign. In their last game against India, South Africa chased down a challenging 252-run target with three wickets and seven balls to spare. They were struggling at 81/5 in the 20th over, but Laura Wolvaardt, Chloe Tryon, and Nadine de Klerk played gritty knocks to take their team over the line.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh have suffered back-to-back defeats against England and New Zealand after starting their campaign with a promising victory against Pakistan. The defeat against the White Ferns in the last game must have been a tough pill to swallow, as they couldn't put up a fight, losing the match by 100 runs. Bangladesh will want to bring their A-game against the strong South African team if they are to give them a run for their money.
The ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium has shown early signs of being a balanced surface. In the match between India and South Africa, the track was good for batting when the pacers operated. However, things got tougher with the introduction of spinners. If teams can keep wickets in hand, a lot of runs can be added in the back-end of the innings.
Laura Wolvaardt (C), Tazmin Brits, Sune Luus, Marizanne Kapp, Anneke Bosch, Sinalo Jafta (WK), Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Ayabonga Khaka, Tumi Sekhukhune, Nonkululeko Mlaba.
Rubya Haider, Sharmin Akhter, Nigar Sultana (WK & C), Sobhana Mostary, Sumaiya Akter, Shorna Akter, Fahima Khatun, Nahida Akter, Rabeya Khan, Marufa Akter, Nishita Akter Nishi.
The 34-year-old opening batter, Tazmin Brits, played a gem of an innings against New Zealand, scoring 101 off 89 balls, belting 15 fours and one six. However, she was dismissed for a duck in the last game. Brits will look to forget the debacle against India and lay a solid foundation on Monday.
Nonkululeko Mlaba has been in fine form, bagging six wickets in three games at an average of 15.83. The left-arm spinner will have a key role to play, especially through the middle overs. If she can restrict the flow of runs and build pressure on the Bangladesh batters, it will bode well for South Africa.
